Art, ideas, and imagination on display

From April 28 to May 4, the French Institute in Jordan took part in the fifth edition of the Comics Week, organized in partnership with the Delegation of the European Union in Jordan and the EUNIC network, at Sweifieh Village.
The rooftop buzzed with creativity—over 2,000 visitors enjoyed exhibitions, workshops, and artist talks.

Our special highlight was the participation of Nadia Nakhlé, a French-Lebanese artist, author, and director known for her powerful storytelling through graphic novels, illustrations, and animated films. She led an engaging workshop and a warm meet-and-greet session, inspiring many with her work and creative journey.

Another highlight was the display of comic art by Jordanian students, proudly displayed alongside professional artists from Europe and Jordan.
It was a lively week full of stories, imagination, inspiration, and artistic expression for all ages!
