Autumn 2026 Language Courses – Registration Opens 19 September
Make this autumn the season you start learning a new language at the Institut français de Jordanie.
Our Autumn 2026 session begins on 27 September, with French courses for adults, children and teenagers, as well as Jordanian Arabic courses for expatriates. Whether you are starting from the beginning, improving your existing skills or looking for a course that fits around your professional or academic schedule, you can choose the learning format that suits you best.
Learn French at your own pace
For adults, the Institut français de Jordanie offers both intensive and extensive French courses.
Our intensive courses are designed for learners who want to progress quickly, with four sessions per week over four weeks, from 27 September to 24 October.
For those who prefer a more gradual pace, our extensive courses run twice a week over ten weeks, from 27 September to 5 December.
Courses are available in person at the Institute or online, with several time slots available throughout the day, including morning and evening classes.
French courses for children and teenagers
Young learners can also develop their French in an engaging environment adapted to their age.
Children aged 6 to 10 benefit from activities and teaching methods designed around their interests and learning needs, while courses for teenagers aged 11 to 15 help them strengthen their French language skills in a dynamic and age-appropriate setting.
Classes take place once a week on Saturdays, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Jordanian Arabic for expatriates
The Institut also offers a dedicated Arabic for Expats programme for people wishing to communicate more confidently in everyday situations in Jordan.
This structured 40-hour course in Jordanian Arabic runs over ten weeks, with two sessions per week from 27 September to 5 December, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
The course focuses on practical communication and everyday language to help participants better navigate daily life in Jordan.
