Updated: Mar 9

Celebrate the richness of Francophonie Week at the French Institute in Jordan! Immerse yourself in cultural diversity with our various activities to celebrate the French language. On 3 March, join us for a round table entitled: "Trajectories and contemporary speeches of writers in and on the Arab World." This round table unites women writers and is co-organized between the Universities of Al Beit and Sorbonne-Abu Dhabi in the presence of Franco-Lebanese writer Mrs. Salma Kojok, author of "La Maison d’Afrique," "Le dérisoire tremblement des femmes," and "Noir Liban." Mrs. Kojok presides over the jury of "Choix Goncourt de l’Orient" and facilitates writing workshops.

During her visit to Amman, she will meet with students from "Choix Goncourt de l’Orient."

Join us for an enlightening discussion and cultural exchange! Join us for the round table on 3 March and explore the contemporary voices of Arab women writers.

Seize the opportunity to engage with Mrs. Salma Kojok and be part of this literary exploration.
