IFJ Nomade: Bringing French Language and Culture Across Jordan

A Partnership That Comes to You

IFJ Nomade is the French Institute of Jordan's travelling outreach programme, bringing high-quality cultural and educational activities directly to schools, universities, municipalities, cultural centers, associations, and community organisations across Jordan.

Rather than asking audiences to come to us, we come to them. Our dedicated team travels throughout the country—from Irbid to Aqaba, via Ghuwar el Safi, Madaba, Karak or Mafraq—with all the materials and equipment needed to deliver engaging, ready-to-run activities.

Hosting IFJ Nomade is completely free. Our partners simply provide a welcoming venue and help mobilise their communities, while we take care of the programme, facilitation, and logistics.

Why Partner with IFJ Nomade?

Partnering with IFJ Nomade means offering your audience unique, high-quality activities while strengthening your institution's cultural and educational offer.

Together, we can:

  • introduce new audiences to the French language and Francophone cultures;

  • create opportunities for dialogue, creativity and intercultural exchange;

  • enrich your programming with innovative, interactive activities at no cost;

  • encourage lifelong learning and curiosity among children, teenagers and adults;

  • build lasting collaborations between your institution and the French Embassy in Jordan.

Each programme is tailored to the needs, interests and age groups of your audience, allowing you to select the activities that best fit your objectives.

A Wide Range of Activities

IFJ Nomade offers an exciting menu of cultural, educational and recreational activities designed for participants of all ages.

Our programme includes:

  • interactive workshops on topics such as climate and environmental awareness;

  • film screenings and discussions;

  • storytelling sessions for children;

  • creative arts and crafts workshops;

  • board games and interactive video games;

  • French conversation cafés;

  • sports and team-building activities;

  • yoga and wellbeing sessions;

  • introductory French language activities.

Our activities require no prior knowledge of French, making them accessible to everyone while naturally encouraging curiosity about the language.

Teachers feedback 2025/2026

"L’atelier culinaire avec le chef Pierrick a été une expérience très appréciée par nos élèves. Elles ont découvert la recette française du chou à la crème, enrichi leur vocabulaire, et partagé un moment agréable en français. La dégustation des choux à la résidence a été un souvenir inoubliable pour elles.

Nos élèves ont été heureuses de rencontrer Monsieur l'ambassadeur et de lui présenter leurs desserts."
